Desktop Applications

C++ Language we use for:

Applications that require high speed performed calculations:
- Historical financial data processing and financial forecasting;
- Construction estimation software.
Running multi-threaded applications in Terminal server (mostly for Linux);
Maintaining older MFC and BCGControlBar applications;
COM components (for IL code rewriting for .NET profiling);
Replacing Python code to optimize extensive calculations on the back-end.

C# Language we use for:

GUI extensive applications with the use of DevExpress;
Building projects for Windows of different types of complexity much quicker;
Developing various reports, financial in particular, applying extensive library instruments.

Web Applications

Python Language we use for:

Developing web applications with back-end frameworks, such as Django, Pyramid and others. Usually PostgreSQL database is used as a data storage;
Different setup utilities, automated scripts, web crawlers, Selenium automated web test scripts, etc.

For front-end used common instruments stack: HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React.

ASP.NET Framework we use for:

For completing a full web development cycle when the Microsoft Stack is required;
Alongside Sencha Touch and DevExpress libraries, with Azure as hosting and SQL Azure for back-end database.

Databases

PostgreSQL database

PostgreSQL database is a free of charge open source database, which serves a good alternative to Microsoft SQL Server. We develop complex and custom solutions in PostgreSQL using functions and triggers. We also optimize data and improve performance of existing databases.

Providing usability and accessibility in the process of interaction with the product.

User Interface design Principles used:
